TheShaadi ("we," "us," or "our") provides wedding planning tools through our website and mobile apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using TheShaadi, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information those providers share with us (such as your name and email address).

Wedding planning data. You may store wedding details in the app, including guest lists, RSVP responses, event schedules, vendor and venue information, budget entries, family member access, and notes you choose to add.

Payment information. When you make a payment through TheShaadi, payment processing is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe or Razorpay. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, and related billing metadata.

Technical information. When you have access to standard server logs and device information needed to operate the service, such as IP address, browser or app version, and general usage data required for security and troubleshooting.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve TheShaadi
• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Sync your wedding data across web and mobile devices
• Process payments and booking-related transactions
• Send service-related communications (such as account or security notices)
• Respond to support requests
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate TheShaadi, including Supabase (authentication and database), cloud hosting providers, and payment processors. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
• Wedding collaborators. If you invite family members or collaborators to your wedding workspace, they can access the wedding information you share with them according to the permissions you set.
• Guest-facing features. If you publish a wedding website or share RSVP links, the information you choose to display (such as names, dates, and events) may be visible to your guests.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and services.

We retain your account and wedding data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account using our account deletion page. Some information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

You can update much of your wedding information directly in the app. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data through our account deletion page or email support@theshaadi.app.

If you use Sign in with Apple, you can manage the connection in your Apple ID settings. Google sign-in can be managed in your Google account permissions.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

TheShaadi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

TheShaadi may process and store information in countries other than where you live. By using the service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of TheShaadi after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
