Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of TheShaadi websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by TheShaadi ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

TheShaadi provides wedding planning tools including guest lists, RSVP tracking, vendor shortlists, budget tracking, collaborator access, and optional guest-facing wedding websites. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

The Service is planning software only. We do not plan weddings, broker vendor contracts, process guest payments on your behalf (except where integrated payment providers are used for your transactions), or guarantee availability, pricing, or quality of any vendor, venue, or third-party service listed or referenced in the app.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your wedding data reasonably up to date.

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, guest information, notes, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including syncing data across web and mobile and showing information you choose to publish to invited collaborators or guests.

You represent that you have the right to upload and share all content you submit, including guest personal data, and that your use complies with applicable privacy and communications laws.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as permitted by law
• Misrepresent your identity or relationship to a wedding you manage

The Service integrates with third parties such as authentication providers (Apple, Google), cloud hosting, maps and place data, payment processors, and vendors you choose to contact. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, or services linked from TheShaadi.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA.

Wedding planning decisions—including vendor selection, contracts, budgets, timelines, and guest communications—are solely your responsibility. Information in the app (including AI-assisted suggestions, if enabled) is for convenience only and is not professional, legal, financial, or event-planning advice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THESHAADI AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TheShaadi and its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service or violation of these Terms
• Content you upload, publish, or share through the Service
• Your wedding events, guest communications, or vendor relationships
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights, including privacy and data protection laws
• Any dispute between you and a collaborator, guest, or vendor connected through the Service

We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense. You will not settle any claim that imposes obligations on TheShaadi without our prior written consent.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, users, or legal compliance. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

You may request account deletion via our account deletion page.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
